2008 Audi A5 S-line:

Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive is my favorite feature of the handsome A5 coupe. On washed-out country roads, this car stuck like glue and never slipped, even through two inches of standing water. It is supremely confidence-inspiring. (Things go a bit south if you have to get in and out while the wet stuff's coming down, though. When you open the door in a downpour, the aggressive tumblehome means that interior is overly exposed and gets quite wet.)

As the resident beverage-head in the office, I would be remiss if I didn't call out the tiny cupholders. There's a small holder for a regular Starbucks cup, and an even smaller one that will hold a can of Red Bull—the Germans clearly don't understand the need to haul a 64-ounce beverage. On the other hand, the prospect of Quattro might just convince me to give up my water tower full of soda . . .
